Theproblem comes with 1.4 TFSI engines. I've read a lot of bad stories regarding 1.4 TSI engines used on Golfs which is basically the same as 1.4 TFSI except the newest EA211 model. The biggest issue is with the timing chain that it slips few teeths, gets loose, stretches and breaks the engine. It's a common know fault, but here's the catch.
