Ihave a 2011 Jetta TDI (manual) coming up on the routine 120,000 mile service. It is a time consuming process but better to take your time, follow the procedure, and double check all timing and torque specs prior to buttoning it up. As for the wear on Timing Belt, Serp Belt, Water Pump, Rollers, and Belt Tensioner they were all in great
imchanging timing belt CFFB 2.0 tdi (140) i could do with torque settings,i know tensioner is 20nm+45 what is waterpump and other Maximumtorque 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) @ 1900 rev/min Engine oil pressure: At idle 0.7 bar (70 kPa) (10 lb/in²) At 3500 rev/min 1.9 bar (190kPa) (27.5 lb/ft²) Description Nm lb-ft Accessory drive belt idler retaining bolt 47 35 Accessory drive belt tensioner M8 retaining bolts 47 35 TorqueDescription: Metric (Nm) Imperial (lbf.ft) Acoustic cover to engine: 8: 6: Ancillary drive belt jockey pulley Allen bolt * 24: 18: Ancillary drive belt tensioner arm nut: 10: 7.5: Big end bearing cap bolts: Timing chain support guides: 20: 15: Timing chain tensioner access plug: 30: 22: Thecar now has 159,000 miles on it so the total mileage on that belt was 87,000 miles which to my way of thinking is not excessive. The new belt, tensioner, idler pulley, and water pump went in fine and the tensioner was adjusted with no problem. The engine runs fine. With the loose belt the engine appeared to start and run o.k. KIPh.
