Battery not charging Warning message. I just got a battery not charging warning while 30 minutes into my journey. The battery normally reads 14.4v on the torque app when the engine is running but was on 11.8 the whole journey. I turned off the car and the start / stop battery was 9v and the main battery 12.2v.
